Passing Bloom

Just a quick update on the Japanese magnolia we greet each day. This one is up near the Carter Center and marks the halfway, or turnaround, point of the morning walk.

Beautiful - these lovely blossoms would have been in a sorry state had they appeared in our neck of the woods today, for we have had rain and hail and blustery winds; the petals would be torn and brown by now. It is supposed to be Spring! Happy April.
